Hundreds of her stories, articles, and poems have appeared in anthologies including Harcourt Brace’s Tangled Vines and in periodicals including Fiction, Oxford Magazine, College English, and Crazyhorse.
Meg has taught creative writing at the University of Arizona, Ohio State University, the University of Maryland, Colorado Mountain College, the Writer’s Voice Project, and Pima College. She has directed writers’ conferences in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Guam, and Japan.
Her awards include a Bread Loaf fellowship. She was the James Thurber Writer-in-Residence at Ohio State University and the Doris Leadbetter Writer-in-Residence at Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia.
